I've been asked a lot about the durability of marble and whether they get stained easily. The answer is yes, which is unfortunate because marble is so beautiful. It really depends on where you would want to use it thus my recommendation for something more tolerant would be granite. They are comparatively harder and stronger. I've been touring at different stone factories looking for exceeding options for my clients and there are actually a lot of nice looking options out there! I even liked one so much I'm renewing my kitchen top with it because I just cant resist.
I have a soft spot for white natural stone. This granite has a subtle pattern and it will definitely be stronger than marble, but keep in mind that white is always gonna be the hardest to maintain no matter what.
